Grades Don't Define You.

Hi everyone! A bit of a serious post today, I wanted to talk about exam grades. My grades, and what you should expect of yourself when you open your results on Results Day.

First of all, in my AS Level exams, I achieved,

Photography: B
English Language: C
Music: C
History: D

Which is exactly what I was expecting, and I am not resitting any exams. Not even history. Even though its not a good pass, I was happy with what I achieved on a subject I wasnt actually good at. I could retain the information, if you were to ask me something about the crusades I could answer it. Ask me in essay form and I can't do it.

I have continued my arts subjects, and I hope to do really well this year.

But my main focus of this post was to say that no matter what you get, your family, friends, family friends and me, are all proud of you and your achievements. If you fail a subject, it could have been a bad day, or just a hard exam, a lot of people will be in the same boat, so have a cry, let out the emotions, and carry on. Resit if you really want that C or B, get a remark if you just want to pass, but make sure you are doing the right thing for yourself. The right thing for me, is not resitting, but my friends are resitting because thats best for them. They want to go to university and I don't know if I do yet.

Thats another thing. You dont have to go when you finish college. You have the chance to take a year out, travel, get your head together and really get to know who you are and what you want to do. I now know what I want to do, and its either photography or music, my grades helped me realise that history was out of the question.

I'm going to take this opportunity to tell my four best friends how proud of them I am for their hard work and grades, I don't know what I would do without you guys.

Thank you all for your continued support while I've been away, my views have steadily kept rising, so thank you!

Hopefully I will be back to full time blogging again soon but until then, I'll post when I can. Don't forget to follow, comment, and subscribe to my YouTube channel, link is at the end of the post. If you're new, hello, welcome!

Speak soon!
All my love, Em xxx
