BuzzFeed Quiz Fun!

I posted a new video yesterday, so go over and watch it!

I hope you enjoy it!
I was staying at my aunties and she wanted to film a video, I of course, agreed and we did four BuzzFeed quizzes, though I had to cut one out because it would have been too long.

Enjoy it. Love it. Comment. Like. Subscribe!

Thank you!

Another One Sided Chat

Hello!

I'm sorry for the lack of a post last week, I was really ill, and didn't feel like myself, so sorry!

But I thought I would let you know how I'm doing with everything.

I am halfway through my exams, I have done history, and I have music and English Language on 2nd June, so I'm on the home straight and excited to finish them now.

I hope anyone sitting exams with me the best of luck! Don't stress yourself out and check out my post on revision tips a couple of weeks ago.

I love you all and keep calm. Take a breath and you'll be fine!

Disney Anthems.

Alert, childhood memories may be induced by these songs.

Hello! I hope you are having a lovely weekend!

I wanted to share my favourite Disney songs with you, some of them you may not agree with but I am in love with these, and they are my childhood, I always have fond memories listening to them. These aren't in any particular order of favourites, just a list for you to add to in the comments!

Prince Ali - Aladdin
'Hey you! Let us through, its a bright new star, oh come be the first on your block to meet his eye!'

This was the song I always sang with my mum around the house, Aladdin was one of my favourite songs when I was younger. I always loved the magic surrounding the Genie and the magic carpet.

Reflection - Mulan
'Who is that girl I see, staring straight, back at me? Why is my reflection someone I dont know?'

A relatively new addition to my list of Disney anthems. The lyrics mean a lot to me right now. I never liked Mulan when I was younger but its grown on me.

Colours of the Wind - Pocahontas
'The rainstorm and the river are my brothers, the heron and the otter are my friends, and we are all connected to each other, in a circle, in a hoop that never ends.'

This. Song. Wow. It's obvious that the writers researched the culture and its just so beautiful. I've been listening to it on repeat recently. I love it.

Scales and Arpeggios - The Aristocats
'Though it seems at first it doesn't show, like a tree ability will bloom and grow.'

I love this. Other than Aladdin, The Aristocats was also my favourite movie when I was younger. It was so warm and lovely, and made me, and still does make me smile every time I watch it.

Thomas O'Malley - The Aristocats
'Tellin' my friends of the social elite, or some cute cat I happen to meet, that I'm.... Abraham De Lacy, Guiseppe Casey, Thomas O'Malley, O'Malley the Alley Cat!

This was another song I sang a lot with my mum, I still do really, its so much fun and I love it. I this its possibly the fun that drew me to the song and the movie

Part of Your World - The Little Mermaid
'Up where they walk, up where they run, up where they stay all day in the sun, wandering free, wish I could be, part of that world'

Such a beautiful song from a beautiful movie. I loved the Little Mermaid and this song was always one of my favourites. The magic behind the whole thing was beautiful. (My friend did an amazing cover of this, I'll leave the link at the end.)

Love Will Find A Way - The Lion King 2
'They can have the world, we'll create our own, I may not be brave or strong or smart, but somewhere in my secret heart, I know, love will find a way.'

Out of the three Lion King movies, this one was my favourite, including this song. If you havent seen the second one, go watch it, The Lion King 2, Simbas Pride. It is without a doubt my favourite Disney movie right now. Romeo and Juliet was the basis and I just love it.

Just Around The River Bend - Pocahontas
'I look once more, just around the river bend, beyond the shore, where the gulls fly free,'

Another Pocahontas song, and this is also one I'm in love with. It has such powerful words in and its been my motivation thoughout exams.

So theres my all time favourite Disney songs, let me know if you think theres any I missed and I would love to know your opinions and favourite disney songs.

Also, let me know what you would like to see on my YouTube, as I want to film a video this week, and I don't know what to film!

Love you all, Em xxx

Illness strikes

Hi everyone, so I'm afraid I have no post this weekend for you :( I've been really ill since Friday last week and I'm only just properly starting to feel better. I've not had chance to write you a post because I've not been feeling myself, I thought that it wouldn't be up to standard.

Though I can update you on the exam situation, I have completed the first of four exams! Woo go me! And I feel good about it so I'm not worried!

I know you will understand the lack of a post, and I am sorry:(

Spotify Playlist.

Hello guys! Happy Saturday once again! I hope you are all well whilst im busy revising for my exams.

I thought I would do a Spotify playlist for you of all the songs Ive been loving recently. I've found it hard to keep up this blog, and revise at the same time. So I decided to make a playlist for you. There's a wide range of music in this playlist, and to be honest, I really love it, theres a lot of different types of music in there.

Favourites <3

Theres a couple of 'joke' songs in there but I felt that because Ive been loving them you need to hear them, so enjoy the couple of hours with my music taste, I hope you agree with the choices!
I'm sorry this is a short post, but I had no idea what to write for you all, though in a couple of weeks time I will be uploading videos, including a makeup tutorial so get EXCITED!

Let me know what you think in the comments!

What Do You Want To See?

Hello! I hope you enjoyed Saturday's post about my life so far, I thought it would be something a little different. Though I want to know what you want to see from me on this blog and on my YouTube Channel, I do want to do some tutorials, though I don't personally use some products because of my skin, I breakout easy with new things so I don't use foundations or concealers, bronzer, blusher or other face makeup like that, though I can show you some of the eyeshadow looks I tend to do a lot.

I really would like your input on this so I know what you want to see!
I will do videos that I like to watch, I would like to do a sims series at some point, but that probably won't be until the future when I can fully dedicate myself to this blog and my channel.

But right now I can do sit down videos for you all where I chat, and answer some questions!

I'd love to know what you think! Leave a comment or send me a tweet or something and let me know what you like watching on YouTube or reading on blogs

My Story So Far.

I wanted to write a post about myself, and explain more about who I am and what I want to do, so heres my story so far!

I was born on 5th December 1997, at about 6am. It was a cold, dreary Friday morning, and my dad cried. I don't know much about my early childhood, but I know that when I first went to nursery my mum couldn't bare to leave me, and cried almost the entire day. This is also the time I met Hannah. She is a few months older than me and I don't even remember how we became so close, I just know that we did.

I can't remember much of my childhood, but I do remember moving from primary school to middle school, which also meant me leaving Hannah. I did make new friends, but I don't think I felt comfortable without her. I can remember one teacher than was a constant support for me there, always making me laugh and making sure I was okay, and I thank him for that. He was the face I needed to see every morning. I remember telling Hannah that we had got into the same secondary school, she screamed down the phone. This is where I began to learn to play the clarinet, I am still with the same teacher now, about to take my grade 7 exam.

Secondary school was the beginning of hell. Year 7 was great. Though by the end of the year we were two schools combined. Everything changed at this point. New teachers, new buildings, new everything. It destroyed the whole atmosphere of the previous school. (this is the school I was talking about in my post 'Dear My Secondary School') Everyone was annoyed at the merge of the two schools, and no one could believe they went ahead with the decision, after students and teachers made their opinions known. From that point, all they focused on was image. I know a lot of students say this but this is actually true. My school 'didn't care' about the education. Not the high up staff anyway. One teacher would confiscate phones merely for having them in your hand. not using them, just putting it away or holding it. Another would make you have your tie a certain length, theres many more cases, some of which I can't remember. It eased off when I met the best form tutor ever, I'm not going to mention her name because of protection and stuff, and she didnt like being on the internet, so I'm respecting that. She supported me in the best way anyone ever had. She was a maths teacher, and helped me when I found it hard, especially in years 10 and 11 when it really mattered. Throughout my time there I was messed around so much, and it hindered me in my exams. I revised all I could, I used all the materials I had, all the resources I could find, and still, because I hadnt been taught things, I couldnt do the simpler things like mental division. I am so bad at maths, and I'm so glad I dont really need it now.

I did well in my GCSEs, all things considered, and moved to my sixth form college, King Edward VI Nuneaton, and I have not enjoyed studying as much as I do now. I have the support I need, the teachers that will help me in any way possible, and the friends I know love me.
I do hope to go to university one day, as I said in my YouTube video on Monday, but I don't think I would have been able to make that choice without the support of the people at KEGS (fondly named after being a grammar school before a sixth form college).

In a way, I'm thankful for the failure the school made, and how the experiences I had there shaped me as a person. Though some things I have left out, because I know that I don't want to write about the bad times in my life, I found it hard to skip them, but I felt like I couldn't immortalise them on this blog when this is an escape for me to get away from those.
